My first encounter with Stepping Stones Learning Center was at a webinar hosted by Teacher Allyson in March 2022. I was instantly captivated by the various Exam Answering Technique that were shared for English, Math and Science. These techniques are easy to remember and effective, and they are not taught elsewhere. They have definitely helped Nikki scored well in her PSLE. Nikki's Science grades have always been in the range of AL5 to AL6 in upper primary but after she started attending Teacher Allyson's Science class, her grades have improved tremendously by 3 AL grades from AL5 to AL2 within a short span of 6 months for PSLE!
Other than the various techniques being taught, I am equally impressed by the Pre-PSLE preparation like spotting of "Must-Know" PSLE exam questions and highlight of Common Pitfalls to avoid. I am really thankful for the patience and the dedication of Teacher Allyson, who has always strived to help Nikki as much as possible, sometimes even answering Nikki's queries late into the night.

I would like to say a big thank you to Teacher Allyson. Teacher Allyson is very professional and committed in teaching the students to help them to achieve good results. My son feels that Teacher Allyson always puts in extra effort and time to explain each concept to him and his classmates in class and ensure they understand it. Special thanks to Teacher Allyson at Stepping Stones Learning Centre. I only manage to send Dean for the PSLE package tuition when he was P6 after attending the parents workshop recommended by my friend. I must say itz indeed quite late to start in P6. It was a very hectic year bcoz we need to attend every Mon/Wed/Fri for Eng/Maths/Science lessons in the evening. But Dean enjoyed his tuition lessons everytime he goes and I must say that this tuition centre is so far his favourite place among all his other tuition centres he attended before.
It has a very good teacher-parent communication system in this learning centre which is a plus point and important that I must highlight.

It was fun exploring different writing techniques which are effective in helping me improved my writing skills. SSLC is a fun and engaging place to learn. I always look forward to my lessons.
Learn Acronyms For Different Topics so We Could Easily Memorise Them
At Stepping Stones Learning Centre my science improved immensely. We would learn acronyms for the different topics so that we could easily memorise them. In addition, the classes were often very enjoyable as we could ask many questions. Without the help of Ms Allyson, I would not have been able to score well in my science and get into the school of my choice.

Miss Allyson and Teacher Bingyao are really patient and caring teachers. They are willing to go the extra mile to help you improve your studies and ensure your foundation for the subject is strong. I look forward to every lesson as the lessons are fun and engaging. Their tips and tricks are very helpful in examinations. With their continuous support, I was motivated and strived to do better. Thanks to Miss Allyson, I did not give up on English which was one of my weakest subject. Both teachers will clarify any doubts that I have and provided extra lessons if required. Being the only N.A student in S.S.L.C, I was unable to cope in the beginning as the topics taught in English, Maths and Science were much ahead of my level and school syllabus. However, thanks to my teachers and tuition peers, I am not only able to cope with my work but get promoted to EXPRESS stream and into a PURE SCIENCE class which I had aspire to achieve.
Make Learning More Interactive and Made Sure I Can Fully Grasp The Concepts
The teaching style of the tutors here really suit my learning needs and the tutors here are very helpful and dedicated to help me improve and score well in math. Particularly, Ms Allyson had the most impact on my learning. I remembered when I first joined the tuition , I had no interest in maths and I could not understand the math concepts. She would make the learning more interactive and made sure I can fully grasp the concepts. Thus , I started having an interest in math and have the desire to improve my math grades.

“Hi, my name is Lee Do Eun and I am from South Korea. I came to Singapore with my family when I was in Primary 2 and was always struggling with the English Language. Back then, I hated the language as it was rather difficult for me to comprehend most of the words and all the other subjects were also taught in English.
The lessons conducted at SSLC were simple to understand and the points conveyed by the helpful teachers were easy to remember. My teacher Miss Allyson , in particular, was always readily available to correct my mistakes and point out my bad habits. She always seemed to know how to make me understand a complex question and simplified it for me using simple techniques such as Acronyms to help me remember. She also loved to update the class with current affairs that could help us with our creative writing. In addition, the tests administered also helped me to hone my applications of the techniques taught and prepared me for the challenging questions in PSLE.

Brendan Used Our Techniques & Scored 268 For PSLE
I joined SSLC in when I was in Primary 4. I had tried other tuition previously at other centres, but they did not seem to work for me as my grade was still stagnant and I was striving for an A* in English and Math.
The teachers at SSLC had helped me a lot by reinforcing my concepts taught in school. This was further simplified by using the Exam Techniques taught at the centre which were easy to remember and effective. They had helped my learning to be more systematic and precise and hence increased my confidence in reaching my target for PSLE. (I was aiming for an aggregate of 260 then). Moreover, the lessons were entertaining and educational and I never thought of it as a chore to attend tuition there.
Imagine my joy when I received my result for PSLE. I scored A* for both my English and Math and achieved an aggregate of 268. I had surpassed my target set for myself. Thank you to all the supportive teachers, especially teacher Allyson. You have always inspired me to do my best and I will continue to strive to do better.

“Before my grandmother enrolled me in Stepping Stones Learning Centre in Primary 4, my school exam results were not up to my parents’ expectations. I was only scoring high Bs in my English and Math but C in Science. Upon starting my tuition classes for English, Math and Science, within a short period of 3 months, I was able to learn very useful exam techniques and apply them in my daily homework and assignments. It was tough in the beginning but I managed to overcome the challenges and became more familiar with the techniques. I really like these techniques as they allow me to apply them in virtually all kinds of questions! By Primary 6, I was already very confident of applying these techniques in my school tests and exam papers.
